Areas of expertise: Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT said as one word), Compassion Focused Therapy, Functional Analytic Psychotherapy, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy and Somatic Experiencing, Substance Misuse, Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT), and Polyvagal Theory in Therapy.

When not working, I enjoy spending time with my wife, four married children, eight grandchildren, two cats (Vanna White and Murphy Brown), cooking, choral singing, swimming, pursuing my doctorate, presenting papers and educational sessions at professional conferences, and conducting qualitative research in the field of counseling.
