I consider the opportunity to be someone’s health care provider a privilege. I feel strongly that every individual should have access to health care that meets their individual needs. I believe as a health care provider, it is imperative to build trusting relationships with individuals, families and communities and work together as a team to improve health outcomes and bridge the gap of health disparities.
I moved to Central Oregon 4 ½ years ago from Michigan, and immediately fell in love with the opportunities for outdoor activities. Warmer weather activities will find me mountain biking, trail running, kayaking or hiking. During the winter months, I enjoy Nordic skiing or snowshoeing. Whenever possible, my 4-legged canine companion Zeus accompanies me on my adventures. Baking and cooking are also hobbies of mine and I consider myself a self-proclaimed foodie. More recently my spare time finds me enjoying my first grandson, who fortunately for me lives in central Oregon as well.
