All Mosaic Medical clinics (including the Mobile Community Clinic) and administrative offices will be closed on Monday, January 21 in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

Mosaic Medical is committed to safe use of medications.  As you may already know, several common blood pressure medications have been recalled recently including Valsartan, Irbesartan, Losartan, and combo-pills containing one of these drugs.

Because only certain “LOT’s” or batches of these medications are being recalled, your dispensing pharmacist (at the pharmacy where you get your medications) is the best source of information about whether your pills have been recalled.

The FDA has set up a webpage for up to date information about the recall where consumers can learn more: https://www.fda.gov/Drugs/DrugSafety/ucm613916.htm

We encourage you to speak with your dispensing pharmacy promptly if you are concerned that you may be taking a recalled medication.”
