Infant and Childhood Immunizations
National Infant Immunization Week is April 23-30, 2011. Below are great resources for parents about immunizing children:
- Every Child By Two is an organization whose mission is to protect all children from vaccine-preventable diseases by raising parental awareness of the critical need for timely infant immunizations.
- Vaccinate Your Baby is an awareness campaign launched by Every Child By Two. Their website has great information for parents.
- Information on each childhood vaccine can be found on the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) website.
The CDC also produces a great Parent's Guide to Childhood Immunizations as well as a document called Common Questions Parents Ask about Infant Immunizations.
