This year, Mosaic Medical is a proud beneficiary of Sagebrush. When you make a donation to Mosaic Medical through Sagebrush, a percentage of your gift will be matched through the Sagebrush Community Challenge matching fund. Your gift could be as much as doubled by the match. Contributions directed to Mosaic Medical through Sagebrush can be made until August 15, 2011. SAGEBRUSH PROMOTIONAL VIDEO from SRO Productions on Vimeo. When you give to Mosaic Medical through the Sagebrush campaign this year, you are supporting a brand new initiative: Reach Out and Read. Mosaic Medical needs to raise $15,000 to implement Reach Out and Read at each of its three community health centers across Central Oregon in 2012. This program will serve nearly 1,000 young people and their families in its first year alone. After staff are trained and the program is up and running, the cost to maintain the program will be just a few thousand dollars a year, covering the cost of purchasing new books. If Mosaic Medical's campaign raises more than $15,000, the remaining gifts will establish a Patient Assistance Fund that will enable the organization's outreach personnel to address modest but pressing patients needs such as a warm coat, a single pair of eye glasses, or appointment-related bus fare. Our Partners If you or your company choose to support multiple organizations through Sagebrush this year, please consider a gift to one of our partner organizations. These organizations routinely serve the children and families who call Mosaic Medical their primary care home and often are a primary referral source for those who need us most. In 2010, nearly 14,000 of your neighbors, friends, colleagues, and family across Central Oregon chose a Mosaic Medical community health center for their primary health care. The vast majority of individuals and families served by our organization are the most medically, socially, and economically-vulnerable members of our communities. Our patients need the care we are able to provide and many would never find their way to a Mosaic Medical clinic without the aid of one of our nonprofit partners.
